Great bands...you just forgot about. (vinyl, albums, Nirvana, The Police)

I was lookign through all my CD's and junk and I seen alot of music and bands that are GREAT that i totally forgot about

.

So what bands have you guys forgot about that are actually really great bands. i have a couple.

1.) The Sound Of Animals Fighting
2.) Trivium
3.) The Police

I haven't listened to Oasis in about a year, but some random TV station played one of their recent live concerts and they played a lot of their old stuff. It really made me appreciate Definitely Maybe/What's the Story...

The Police are one of those bands for me too. Everything I own by them is on vinyl so I don't listen to it much but every time I put it on I always think, "Damn I forgot how good these guys were."

I rediscovered Fields of the Nephilim about a year ago after not listening to them for ages.

I forgot how much I like Tears for Fears until I read in the newspaper yesterday that they're doing a show in my area.

I hadn't necessarily "forgotten" about them, but I hadn't listened to Nirvana for a while. Missed them, too.

I forgot how undeniably cool the Jam were 'til a couple of days back. Judging by the first three albums that takes some doing.
