I must say, although I do really dislike people blabbering on about how "there's no good music about anymore", I do find myself gravitating increasingly towards the 90s and 80s. I did the whole 60s and 70s thing during my last modern barren patch.

Ever since I've started working at the grocery store, my hatred of mainstream pop music is at an all time high. You try listening to the same 40 songs all day and not want to smash a can of relish all over the dressing aisle.

I grew up on 60's and 70's music (rock and soul, mostly), but I'm really getting into newer bands as I get older. Even though the mantra of "the only good music is from MY days" was beaten into me by my parents, I realize now that is simply not true.

90% of the music I listen to now is from the 2000's. I used to belive that there was no good music from this the 00's, but it's my favourite decade now.

OFF-TOPIC:

Sometimes I look at the word "Yore" and think was that "Y" one of those Y's that should have been a TH?

Like ye old was the old. If so, that makes Yore "Thore" and music is the day of Thore was probably pretty badass. A lot of hard rock/metal I'd imagine.

Seriously lol'd at that comment. :-D

I'd guess it would be a lot of power metal.

Every time I see Yore, I just read Yesteryear in my head. I think that sounds better in my head than Yore.

Yeah a LOT of my music is from the last decade. If it isn't, it's more than likely from the 90s. I have few exceptions.
