I'm trying to get tickets to see them live in Italy, but I can't get a hold of the standing tickets. For anyone who has seen them live (in a stadium gig), is it worth getting the seat tickets on the stands? I've never been to a stadium gig before...:\

Well last time I saw them they were seated tickets but they weren’t in the stands, but I just bought some seated tickets in the stands for their show in San Antonio in June, so yeh go for it.

I think that their 2nd album was pure genius. Plus, Yellow, from their first album is beautiful. I think X&Y was ****, and their newest album too.

Their secomd album was great... X&Y was disappointing, monotone and well, in patches, sleep inducing... But Viva was a massive return to form and step forward in my opinion...

If its anything like that God Put A Smile On Your Face remix theyve been playing at their shows recently, I fear the worst.

Somehow I don't see Chris Martin running all those weird filters and processors on his vocals that Thom Yorke liked so much in the Kid A days... Coldplay seem more in the U2 vein of experimentalism... they don't seem to want to totally ditch the big stadium sound yet they don't want to make blind copies of everything they've done before...

And I don't mind that at all... I'm not looking for much else from them...

Though if they really, really suprised me...
