ICP is not a genre, unless you call it CrapClownCore. I have no problem listening to the tracks you posted and giving you my reaction, but stop using this thread as an excuse to post IC ****ing P! Last word. You don't like it, **** off. Seriously.
See this is where you fail. You start a thread about getting into genres, which shouldn't be some restrictive concept as it's such a broad idea, and yet you have to whine about how other people approach it because you're just not willing to contemplate that someone else's way might actually work for you.

You wanted to get into hip hop? Well a good way is to explore a single artist you've been introduced to and liked. Unless all you really wanted to do was get kudos for being so open minded.

Weird, huh?
I don't think there's anything coincidental about you imposing arbitrary rules because you always do it.

Oh look, apparently I wasn't the only one who needed to be told not to post multiple videos by the same artist. I guess it wasn't so obvious after all.

Fixed that for you. Stop whining.

Nothing arbitrary about it. The rule would not have been needed had you not gone Chicken Hunting as you always do.

Yeah, and if MicShaz is told one song per artist only, he'll agree to that, unlike you, who always think your way is the only way. Now **** off or I won't even listen to those ICP tracks at all.

This is actually one of the most ludicrous things you've ever posted. It's the exact opposite. A good way - the best way - to get into any genre is to explore as many and as varied artists within that genre as you can, otherwise you just "like one or two artists in [insert genre here]" and cannot be said to have truly experienced, explored and appreciated the genre. Like people who "like Heavy Metal" but are only into Metallica.

Allright, I'll put it as a choice:

If you want something where there's a higher chance you might like it, go with "Rinkaku".
If you want something a bit riskier, but more interesting/challenging to sit through, pick "Diabolos".

Loved this. Very cool, very smooth, rap was easy to follow and make out - someone talking about the suicide of a close friend? Excellent stuff.

For this particular song, I'm okay with whatever you want to call it. Prog metal seems fine, since the metal elements aren't ever going into aggressive territory. The band's music is all over the place, but a lot of it could be called prog metal for sure. I do think they're a very unique band, even when they do proggy sounding metal, but you gotta call it something.

All vocals are performed by the singer, Kyo. He's really my all time favorite singer, in no small part due to his impressive versatility. This song only exhibits part of what he can do vocally.

Again: Actually glad that you didn't hate it!

And I agree the video is very well made. Although their videos otherwise tend to be a overtly tasteless and shock-factor oriented, tbh.

Sigh. In the interest of you furthering your ICP knowledge I will chill. For now. But you know how this goes.

No, throwing a wide net on a genre is good for dipping your toes in, but at some point you're going to need to delve deeper into an artist's discography or else you're going to have a pretty shallow understanding of a genre and will likely not be very invested in it.

This was just ok. Shamrock Hip-hop though? Seemed way too long and basically just repeated what could have been a 2:30/3 minute song. All right though.

Ah that was great fun. Waits on calliope with one of the guys from Daft Punk on vocoder! Vocoders can be so hilarious when used properly. Gave me a good laugh, though whether I'd want to hear more is debatable. Novelty tune for sure.
