Music Banter - The Official Genre Gateway Thread

Here's an idea. As I go through my "Albums of 2017" thread I'm finding myself as a matter of course listening to a lot of genres and sub-genres I have never heard, or would never think to listen to. Some have been successful listens, some not so. But it's interesting.

So here's your chance, if you ever wanted to get me to try your favourite genre(s). Post videos relating to a genre or sub-genre I'm not into or that into, or have never heard before. I will promise to listen to it and give you my opinion. Maybe you'll get me into something, maybe not. A list of the genres/sub-genres I am not into, or familiar with, is below, but if unsure just post and if I know the genre/sub-genre I'll let you know. And be patient, please, if I don't get back to you right away. Also please if you can put down the title of the song as it's not always legible from the video.

If I'm not impressed within, say, two minutes of the video I probably will write it off at that stage. If you think I should have listened for longer and that that would have changed my mind, make your case but it will still be up to me. Oh, and note what genre or sub-genre it is that you're posting, as it may not be obvious to me.

New rule: No posting the same artist twice, unless the genres are different, or unless I specifically request more of that artist.

I'd just like to point out that, though I won't be thanking everyone for their suggestions in every post, I do appreciate those of you who make the effort to post a song or songs. If I hate your song(s) please don't take it personally. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten, and your names will live on.
