I think this is my favourite Loop album now!

Does anyone like Swervedriver? I've been listening to them obsessively over the last few days. I didn't really like them much when I first heard them ages ago, but they've grown on me considerably. Like a more accessible and more rockin' shoegaze band...well they got more accessible as they went on. But there's some really neat guitar work and the vocals are very different from what you'd normally assosiate with shoegaze bands. Raise, Ejector Seat Reservation and Mezcal Head are all sweet albums.

I'm going to see them next week as well. Imagine, seeing MBV and Swervedriver within two months of each other! Can't wait.

I have a single by Swervedriver but, I've been getting more into The Brian Jonestown Massacre lately.

Actually, me too. I've only heard their first album (Methodrone) but I'm in love with it. Will need to get more.

what BJM have you heard?

I've downloaded their entire discography but, I had to convert them to a usable format and then I had to rename all of the tracks but, so far I've listened to "Methodrone", "Bravery, Repetition and Noise" , "Bringing it All Back Home Again" (which is all acoustic), and a cover of The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony. All were vastly different and we're all great albums in my opinion, oh and the cover of Bittersweet Symphony is what got me into BJM.
