hey, i'm darek and i started a band this year...i've been at it for 10 years now since i bought my guitar with my first paycheck in the real world...i'm a paramedic in halifax and my other interests include triathlons and my dog 'georgia'

i play an acoustic mostly...i write songs and then bring it to the band to get their input...it's indie rock i guess...we are trying to hammer out a signature sound by letting each member play to their strengths and instincts as they pertain to each song...it's pretty democratic in the end but not without strong opinions...
music i like includes: dmband, rhcp, foo fighters, u2, spirit of the west, dispatch, jason mraz, david gray, jazzberry ram, lots of other stuff too... cheers, d
