Cannot stress enough how good they are. One of my favorite foodstuffs.

Ooo.. That does sound good, I've heard of it before, but didn't know that was the process.

You want pics? I went so far as to buy deli fresh slabs of bacon. (finely diced chives over the finished product is the deal closer.)
