This one's mainly directed to the english-speaking part of the community. I suppose most of you know about those peculiar letters in the swedish alphabet, Å Ä Ö, but do you know how they are pronounced? I'm under the impression that a lot of non-swedes see them as variations of A and O, kinda like accents or something, am I right?

Then it's probably my duty to inform you about the pronounciation, as none of them has any resemblance to the sound of either A or O:
Å: as in "wall" and "crawl" Ä: as in "pass" and "stare" Ö: as in "bird" and "sir" That's why bands like Motörhead and Mötley Crüe sound rather funny up here. Not to mention Tröja, which with is the swedish word for sweater.
