Default Things You Loved / Self Accomplishments About 2016

I know the common trend is to **** on 2016 for being a truly horrible year. I mean, let's face it, it really has been a ****ty year. But a lot of good has come from 2016 and I feel it's far more beneficial to talk about the positive. So i'll go first:

Music wise, I debuted two projects that I can honestly say I'm truly proud of. I found a part in me that I never knew existed, and a lot of it turned out to be truly great. Everyone that has given criticism to the music I make, I sincerely appreciate it, and I use it to better myself:

The first type of music I ever did was with 1blankmind and it turned out far better than I could have imagined

Along with that, I continued to make music that sometimes blew my own mind.

On top of that, I've been able to really dive into my creative habits with "clickbait" style jobs. But let's face it, work is work. I'm still proud of what I've done with these companies, and I know it's going to make 2017 a truly great year:

Oh god, do I really wanna do this? I guess personally this year was one of the best of my life but I'm about to get real ****ing emotional. Oh well.

-Went to tons of shows
-Figured out somewhat what I wanna do with my life
-Had my first romantic relationship (which recently went on break, but we're still super close)
-Gained the first person I really feel I could call my best friend (see above)
-Listened to tons of albums (literally more than doubled my listened albums this year, from around 700 in January to almost 1600 now)
-Graduated high school
-Started college, finished first semester (technically second cause of the dual enrollment **** when I was in HS) with two A's and two B's
-First job
-Started gaining finances and ****
-Became more independent and self-reliant than ever before
-Began to actually think better of myself for once in my life
-Got rid of a toxic relationship with that asshat I was in a band with
-Learned so many new things about myself and how to deal with them
-First music festival (and second)
-First listened to Red House ****ing Painters whose album Rollercoaster instantly became Top 3
-Some other stuff (which I'll update if I remember)

I'd like to thank pretty much every member here for being awesome and inviting towards me too, you lot are great and it's been a fun year. Love you guys.

Edit:

-Made my own ****ty bedroom music but was too lazy/inexperienced to take it into being as good as it could've been. I hope next year I'll be able to put all my efforts into making the best stuff I'm really capable of, because I really feel like I could do so much more with my talents.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

^I'd like to add that I've had a lot of self discovery this year as well. After ending a super bad relationship, this place has managed to keep me together give or take a few emotional roller coasters. It's nice to have friends here that I can talk to about pretty much everything.

2016 has been the best. Music, politics and even personally. New job and career path in security work. Everything other than football has been spectacular.

This year was pretty boss for me.

-Owned two cars(one of which was my first ever)
-Went on two trips(one to St. Kitts and the other to that hellhole known as Florida)
-Went to a couple of different shows and festivals
-Cut some toxic people out of my life
-Started a new relationship

This year I would say was like a roller coaster but there were definitely more highs than lows and I loved it. 2016 was a boss year for me.

I have pretty big plans for 2017 also.
