Default Post-Punk/New Wave/Goth and Related Reccomendations

I'll start out by saying I'm huge on post-hardcore. No shortage of knowledge there. I've just never really got to far into goth or industrial or dark ambient or any of that post-punk stuff. Could you guys recommend what course of action I need to take?

(I'm relatively new to musicbanter too, correct me if I screw up, haha)

Niiice list. This will hold up for a while. Did you hear Viet Cong is in the process of changing their name because of all the controversy around it? I think it's kinda ridiculous.

Yeah, I heard about that. It is definitely ridiculous. It's not like they're out there to offend people with that name, so why should people be offended to the point that they have to change it?

She Past Away is a current band from Turkey.
Belirdi Gece was released in 2012 and they have a new album this year.

Actually I just read something in the post-punk thread that they were having to cancel shows because of it. It's pretty awful but I see why they're making the push the change it.

I liked Voodoo Church's first EP.

They have some newer releases but I don't know if they're much good.
