Default The Guy On Vocals Died

Lets have some discussion of purely instrumental bands. My band mention for today:

#1. Pelican

Are a quartet of musicians who come from Chicago. Three of the musicians originally came from the band Tusk, Larry Herweg (drums), Trevor De Brauw (guitar) and Laurent Lebec (guitar). Pelican are a modern day instrumental band, their first EP hit the shops in 2003. Pelican are a rather original band as they have musical roots planted in several genres, avantgarde, sludge, post rock and some songs contain a very eerie or atmospheric ambiance. March Into the Sea is a blistering 20 minutes long so they are no strangers to prog eather.

Band Members: Larry Herweg (drums), Trevor De Brauw (guitar), Laurent Lebec (guitar), Bryan Herweg (bass).

Songs to look for:
Drought
Forecast For Today
Last Day Of Winter
March Into The Sea

Review them, download them, then set up some more bands for us to get stuck into!
