Voimasta ja kunniasta by Moonsorrow, my first viking metal album. I just can't stand these generic black metal vocals. They are completely unappealing to me. I understand the point of them is not to be conventional and to cause discomfort, but the only one who pulls it off for me is Dennis Lyxzén.

Oh, btw. Skyliner's second album has a working title: Condition Black. I'm looking forwars to seeing it. I know Jake Becker's into the idea of concept albums and I suggested to him to give his band a more spacey-feel. So I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. Their first album, Outsiders, was generic but good. So I really want to see how the next one turns out.

I don't dislike Rage Against the Machine, but would the world be any worse off if this was the only song they'd ever released?

I like it when they do songs with more than 10 words or 2 riffs

But to contradict myself, I think they're a really great band with an awesome sound when it's based in repetition and minimalism. Maybe I've just heard Killing too many times

They're not great for albums or more than a few songs, but if you just listen to one Hatebreed song at a time they're pretty rad.
