Listening to The Number of the Beast for the second time today. Powerslave was perfect. It metalled hard. But this is metalling all over ther place! I can finally appreciate Iron Maiden as one of the greatest bands ever.

OMG this might just be the first time I've listened to this song baked, and I am reminded why this my most listened to album on my Last.FM. Metal, hardcore, metalcore I don't give a ****, this is one of the greatest extreme metal albums of all-time.

Holy crap. I've listened to some pretty technical death metal, but this **** is insane. Haven't heard a full album yet.

I used to think that the pinnacle of mid/late-80s black metal was Sarcofago, but this is even more raw, ****ed up, ugly, and yet inspired. I doubt anything on the first wave black metal battle in my thread is going to dethrone Bathory for me, but this is probably gonna be on the short, short list of albums that might give me pause.

P.S. This is not THAT Poison.
