As long as you can justify calling it at least death metal-related then it's all good. This is not in any way a purist thread.

And if you wanna post a video then take all the letters/numbers after "https://youtu.be/" and put them in the Youtube tags, or else it won't show up. Here you go.

Lol yeah. It's a perfectly decent album but they hadn't found their footing yet.

Something tells me he'll be incommunicado and doesn't even remember he's in this thread. You there, Thelonious Monkey?

well Morbid Visions is where the sickness is forever. I like Schizophrenia way more but whatever. MV is more demony

I'll probably miss my turn when it comes so this is my pick ahead of time

Will do. I know that album but don't really remember what it sounds like.

Sepultura - Morbid Visions
This album has always reminded me of Slayer’s Hell Awaits. Although Sepultura’s debut isn’t as good, in both cases you really get a sense of the fun these guys were having, just loving playing metal before they’ve had time to get on each other’s nerves and become jaded about the scene and record companies trying to rip them off. Also every early Sepultura album is a step on the way to peak Sepultura, ie Chaos AD.
7/10
