I'll go with Hoddle.
Sure Hoddle did a good public relations job before.

Harry Redknapp fits into the type of man the country wants, he's similiar to Terry Venebles in a lot of ways. The public want him, he's one of the chaps and also both were rather dodgy characters.

Personally I think he would be mad to take the job, he's never had it so good in his managerial career and has got the big team that he has always wanted, he has a side that is top 4 quality and can challenge for the league and play in Europe. If he takes the England job, he's on a hiding to nothing with a bunch of mediocre players who'll let the nation down again.

Also the FA want to offer the next England manager a lot less than Capello was getting paid and greedy Harry would take that as a slight, so his wage would be a major stumbling point. Personally, I think they should give the job back to Steve McClaren, lets face it, he know the ropes and whats involved

Now that Redknapp has been cleared of the tax evasion malarky, I can't see any real opposition to him getting the post if he wants it. The FA were open enough to suggest that he "might" be one of the candidates, which for an organisation like that is like saying "we really want this guy". He's well respected, he's forthright and outspoken, and is a strong enough character who knows enough to the England squad to have proper control of the team before the Euros.

Whether he'll take the job. that's another question. He has always struck me as a guy with a lot of national pride - even if the pay isn't as good, he might be tempted by that side of things.

Sorry I couldn't resist: I saw this on Jason Manford's Facebook page:

Give it to Hope Powell, she's done a decent job with the women's team.

Suarez was a complete wanker before yesterday's match, now he's an even bigger one. The whole thing compounded itself even more with Kenny Dalglish at the end of the match, claiming that he knew nothing of Suarez refusing to shake Evra's hand!!! The face Dalglish put, was one of anger and disbelief. The man can hardly speak English perfectly, let alone trying to attempt to lie to the cameras on national television.

Absolutely pathetic behaviour from Suarez. With cameras pointing right at him, with thousands of people from all over the world watching, he refused, Evra even gave him a second chance, which he declined too. It's ridiculous behaviour from someone who was wrong in the first place.

I could say a lot more, but it's really not worth it.

Not sure why they have to shake hands in the first place. Suarez is clearly not a huge fan of Evra, and vice verca, why the phony sportsmanship?

... Seriously? No matter how much you dislike someone, it's a professional game, and it's in the name of sportsmanship. You Always shake their hand. Sportsmanship isn't about pretending to like someone, it's about showing the respect that is due to an opponent, it's about remembering that it is a game, and that it's all meant to be in good sport.

What Suarez did wasn't about not shaking Evra's hand because he didn't like him, it was about refusing to be mature and put his personal dislike of Evra below sportsmanship and the spirit of the game. He's an international superstar, he has a responsibility to be mature and to uphold that spirit. In my opinion, anyone so immature and petty as that should be banned from the FA.

True. The whole issue was that despite being banned he refused to let the issue go - essentially showing that he puts his grudges above the game.

And Evra was not in the same boat at all, he held his hand out first, Suarez ignored him, Evra offered it again yet Suarez continued.

I am not on Suarez's side on the matter, but I just don't see the point in shaking hands, especially with a person you clearly don't respect.

Again, I am not on his side, but Suarez must feel as though he was not in the wrong and Evra has ruined his reputation.
