My bass is a Telluride, which is similar to a Squire... Anyway, my top ten bassists would be.
1.Flea 2.Tony Levin 3.John Entwhistle 4.Chris Squire 5.Bootsy Collins 6.Les Claypool 7.Paul Mccartney 8.Mike Watt 9.John Wetton 10.John Paul Jones

It's preference, I realise that Geddy is better than all the bassists I listed on a technical level (except Levin), but I dunno, there are just several bassists that click with me better than Geddy does.
But if it makes you feel any better. 11. Geddy Lee I really couldn't do a list of who I consider the most skilled bassists, way too tough to call, but I think that these guys are more skilled than Lee, at least. Victor Wooten Stu Hamm Billy Sheenan Jaco Pastorius Michael Manring Stanley Clark Tony Levin Dave LaRue John Patitucci Gary Willis Though Levin aside, I prefer Lee over all of them.

I guess so..i just really love the sound he puts out..the bass has just as much of a lead part in rush as guitar
