Lou Gramm - "Midnight Blue"
This is a song that gets played all the time on the Iowa radio station I usually have on at work, and so I decided to look it up today and read the lyrics.
The sound of the song doesn't grab my attention much, but while listening to it yesterday I noted with more interest that the song uses colors (which exist only in the mind) as metaphors to explain a sense of a feeling or desire ("cherry red") and of the unknown ("midnight blue")...at least those are my interpretations:
