Music Banter - View Single Post - What can always get you into the creative mood (song, film, people, etc.)?

I'm mainly inspired by my subconscious and my dreams, as well as pretty much anything intangible (I really enjoy pictures and music that are blurry or out of focus) or mysterious/dark (I've always been intensely fascinated by ghosts and goblins and witches and things of the sort). I really like being in places that provoke strong feelings for one reason or another. Dark cities almost always evoke a lot of fantastic imagery for me. I feel comforted by all the lights, and yet I feel apprehensive about the dark pockets where no one seems to be. I've always preferred the dark; everything is more interesting at night time.
