This discussion died out a while back, but I've recently been taking courses that deal with forms of abuse, rap, crime in general, and deviance.
Relating to earlier in the discussion, where people thought abused children were very likely to abuse their own children eventually, I want to say that although those who are abused ARE more likely than non-abused people to abuse their own kids, but the majority of abused children DO NOT grow up to abuse their own children
