You know why it's easy to jump into the Lounge and start posting there? for the same reason.
More broad topics that doesn't require someone to know a band/artist that is super obscure and even if they don't know it, they may listen but that doesn't mean they will like it.

Bjork is not super obscure. She's also infinitely more creative, and talented than Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is a cheap imitation of these 'underground acts. Monopolising the illusion of originality which we have to hear the mainstream media praise her 24/7 without any exposure to the the truth of how unambitious she really is.
What's so wrong about exposing people to sources of originality that a ridiculously overhyped mainstream star sapped everything from? Perhaps it's out of respect for serious artists that people might enjoy if they are actually exposed themselves to them.
And yes, we should be trying to keep the albums club alive more than arguing about things we've been for months. Gaga inspires no new conversation because she rarely throws out anything truly uniquely new.
Still, this is only proof further that until we move this to the editor's picks section, this thread will continue to be flooded with useless replies.
