I hit page 81 by accident and saw that there was a sludge thread that nobody has responded to since 2005! I`m too lazy to check if there is a more recent thread dedicated to this metal genre so lets discuss.
We could discuss the ultimate sludge band the Melvins, but the genre has a whole load of other great bands as well, also there are well known bands such as Mastodon and Baroness for example who incorporate sludge into their progressive sound.
