There is a saying: you have your whole life to write your first album and only six months to write your second album. I see many bands slowly losing it after a great debut album, or they peak with something like their 3rd album then go down hill from there. For example I like U2 "Boy" over "Zooropa" and "Murmur" over "Around the Sun" I'm pretty sure there are a ton of fans out there that would be like "Zooropa">"Boy or "Around the Sun">"Murmur"
