A Balloon Called Moaning was pretty damn solid and bursting with youthful energy, but I do think that with The Big Roar they've really outdone themselves, even the re-recorded songs sound better. One thing that does irk me a bit though is the sound on the album. It does sound pretty huge but they could have mastered it at more generous volume, it sounds a bit too compressed and loud.

I really didn't like
A Balloon Called Moaning but it's been a while and I am thinking of revisiting it. It just kind of bored me but I can't really remember too much about it, but I always dismissed them after that. I actually really like the production, I think that might actually may be the main thing that's keeping me clinging to it. I do remember the song Austere from the other album and I did like the song but the version on the new one is so much better in my opinion.
