Perhaps you are right that this forum could be a mess if not curbed.
Other forums have overcome this problem by charging a fee to promote. This garners a few greenbacks for the website, retains order, flushes out the wannabees, and "provides a great service to unsigned artists"
How about I charge you for annoying me?
You can pay me, and resume being annoying, or you can leave, and the website continues doing what it has been doing since forever. Successfully.
