Basically, they changed the landscape of popular music in just 8, more like 5-6, years. Ask me to name the individual elements of that change and we'll be here all day. It wasn't just the music: it was the attitude, the product and the influence. It's why the Beatles go beyond music and enter into pop culture and even world history.
