This.
I can get into a few bands like Yes & Gentle Giant -- basically prog acts that don't take themselves too seriously. But the bombastic, over-the-top ugliness that characterizes twenty minute interludes is really disheartening. King Crimson is the only real prog act that I can sit down, listen to & be mesmerized every second of it.
