Another one of these albums that straddles the line between power metal and other metal genres, is this debut album by Sanctuary who were fronted by Warrel Dane who would later go on to form Nevermore. Nevermore are one of my all-time fav metal bands and Warrel Dane a favourite metal vocalist of mine. Most people tend to focus on Sanctuary`s second album
Into the Mirror Black and this album gets far less love. The real strength of this debut album are the high pitched vocals put out by Warrel Dane which are sublime and he would never sing like this across any future albums.
Interestingly as a footnote, this album was produced by Dave Mustaine who also played guitar on one song "White Rabbit" a cover of the classic Jefferson Airplane song.
