However, some of his side projects (Oysterhead, Fearless Flying Frog Brigade) Have him quite a bit more subdued in flippity-flippity-flop dept. As a bonus Frog Brigade has been known to play Pink Floyd's Animals from start to finish live, although they've never managed to do it the few times I've seen them.

I have to say I feel the exact opposite about his output. Stuff like Oysterhead is far, far too noodly to me, but Primus (and Sausage) has the good songwriting generally. And
Sailing the Seas of Cheese is my favorite Primus album.
