it is really starnge to listen to the progression of Albin's music over the years under the name Der Blutharsch....starting off as a seminal "martial industrial" band....primarily using samples of speeches, classical music with a strong militant drum beat.....and slowly morphing into a neo psychedelic band....at first it was a little unsettling....but i must admit i am really happy with what they've become
glad you liked this album.....i highly suggest looking into Der Blutharsch and the Infinite Church of the Leading Hand's debut full length album which came a couple weeks ago (and came nicely wrapped in gold leaf
).....the same as this but without the darkness that Aluk Todolo brought to this album....also Seven That Spells which is part of them....amazing super fuzzed out psychedelic jam rock from Croatia!...good stuff

i have to agree with you all about my just kind of loss of interest in Primus.....for years they really were one of my favorite bands.....but even with this new album they released this year i just came to the realization that its just not for me anymore.....personally i hold Frizzle Fry in high regards still....but like others said....it only takes a few songs till i'm just tired of it
i never looked in The Flying Frog Brigade.....but i definitely enjoyed that Oysterhead album when it came out

i have to agree with you on this....i do love those first two BRMC albums....but they pale in comparison to the mental genius that Newcombe had in the early days of BJM.....and the simple fact that he recorded many of those albums 100% by himself....and then had a "touring" band is just amazing
with the rave reviews this is getting here i just had to look into it.....going to load it up and drive to San Francisco today.....seems like a good album to help ease the stress of traffic
