Think it`s worth pointing out that the Brian Jones era Stones were very different from the Mick Taylor (or post Brian) version.
Around the time of "Sticky Fingers" (which is a great album) they evolved into perhaps the first modern era rock-as opposed to pop-band.
And much as I love The Beatles, if you don`t love, I mean really love the Stones, then maybe Rock music just isn`t for you.
