He's fantastic, very clever and well-spoken man. I've watched that lecture several times in hopes that it will turn me into a brilliant astrophysicist.

A Thousand Splendid Suns wasn't as good at Kite Runner, but like Pete said, as far as school reading goes it
really could be worse. And Geraldine Brooks is great. It's more a matter of whether you're interested in the topic(s), I think.
