Also it's worth keeping in mind that in 120 minutes of football Italy werent good enough to beat us. You can analyse the performance but that is a fact. Any talk from the England camp about how they had the ability to play Italy and win was justified, in my opinion. They only got the job done on spot kicks.

I don't think you can say Italy weren't good enough to beat us just 'cause they didn't convert the many chances they had. They hit the post at least once, or was it twice, and missed a couple of sitters. They were generally speaking...technically easily 'good enough' to beat us just as Barcelnoa and BM were easily 'good enough' to beat Chelsea. Funny old game as they say!
