I saw this and I felt almost inclined to post, because Buckethead is the main reason why I learned guitar.
Sure, he does seem void of emotions in a lot of his playing, but I feel like the emotions are placed in there if you have the eye for them. His playing is quite technical, but the musical theory required for what he’s done is immense. I personally love his acoustic stuff (Electric Tears / Acoustic Shards / etc...) more then mostly anything, and it always relaxes my mood. If I want to get pumped for an event I listen to songs like Jordan and Soothsayer, and that gets my adrenaline going. If a guitarist can have such effect on someone’s emotion, then there must be emotion in the playing, it may just reach out to certain people.
