I think you are really underscoring the music preference of an entire generation to think the 1.) all of them to listen to Top 40 pop crap or have
no knowledge of what isn't popular and 2.) if they go against the grain and they listen to a band that not too many in their generation know about than that somehow makes them posers. There is so much music out there that I can't see Lady Gaga or Micky Ninjas fans going in any direction let alone one direction and above it all.
