Self preservation is so ingrained into our DNA so to go against that suggests a huge problem.
To be a callous **** and comment on this I would say that 90% of suicide attempts are cries for help and ultimately selfish (as well as being unsuccessful).
Unless it is the most disturbing life one person has been through, suicide is a cowards way out and even then someone, somewhere is out there to reach out a hand.
