Well I wasn't expecting much from this at all but I am not a massive fan of the original. I like it but it's not in my DVD collection which says something. I thought the remake would be a kid friendly re-hash but it was much more adult orientated which is a definite plus.
David Tenant is hilarious though and the banter between him and his girlfriend is so good, Colin Farrell puts in a decent performance and there are a couple of really good action scenes. A mini triumph and one of the better remakes that has come out over the past few years.
