I might as well admit that I'm a bit up-tight about hygiene in sexual situations. Let's say I was single and met a girl who wanted to play my skin flute. Unless I just came out of the shower, I would probably feel a little self-concious about the state of things down south.
I know that part of the important function for pubic hair is provide ample surface area for pheromones to stick to because dick smell/vag smell just makes us horny. However, I can't help thinking that smelly genitalia are a little gross so I'm generally willing to trim my Johnsons hairdo for a more neutral odour. I also think it looks more tidy down there with a bit of trim and so I certainly don't mind if women do the same.
My wife completely disagrees with me and prefer pubic hair so there you go. She complains when I shave.
