Lines of grey
Don't pretend
you're some kind of crown!
How much does it hurt?
How hard have you tried?

Cos I only long to be
Nothing more nothing less
than a faithful tree

When stubbornly I insisted to stay
True joy
Has entered the wounds I cut for myself
