He's a big boy, he can make his own decisions. And I would hardly call natural cures a "pseudoscience." I can personally vouch for individuals that I know being cured by specific herbs, fruits, etc. when pharmaceuticals did nothing for them or even exacerbated their illnesses and symptoms. At least I'm trying to help the guy, rather than simply sit back and criticize others for doing so.

What can I say, I think it's irresponsible to suggest that someone with a serious psychological disorder NOT see a doctor and self medicate instead. And good for you that you have anecdotal evidence about homeopathy.
