I've been sick all day. Really sick. I think I have the flu, but it feels like I have the Black Plague.

Today was pretty great, except for the rain all day. I bought a Ukelele so I was jamming mucho on that for pretty much the rest of the day.

What can I say, I think it's irresponsible to suggest that someone with a serious psychological disorder NOT see a doctor and self medicate instead. And good for you that you have anecdotal evidence about homeopathy.

I suggested that he seek out other methods. If those don't work, then by all means, go get drugged. Don't be pissy.

Anecdotal evidence > no evidence.

Anecdotal evidence > no evidence.
No evidence of drugs working for people? Maybe they didn't work for you or your friends/family, but that doesn't mean they haven't worked for other people.

Instead of intensely advocating for alternate treatments that may or may not work, while dismissing common medicinal treatments completely (which have more proof of working than not, at least compared to alternative methods), let her decide for herself.

Got really nostalgic about the past today. Felt good and bad about it. This happens a lot, Its not depressing, well it is...But it is also a good feeling, that I have met some great people in my life and had some amazing experiences with them, I mean, I couldn't have asked for more. I miss them too. That's not to say I am not having a good time now, in face I am probably in a better position that I ever was right now, but the friends and situations that have passed on(not died), the ones that I have fallen out with( I haven't really fell out with anyone) for different reasons, people leaving college or moving country. Its a beautiful and saddening feeling at the same time. I love my friends, they have really given me a positive outlook on the world, because the majority of them are truly wonderful people, and I am not just talking about my close friends, I am also talking about my acquaintances, the people I knew to see and met every now and then. We're only on this planet for a few moments and we should all treat each other with the best of intentions. I think that people don't take the time to give each other compliments and connect as much as they should anymore.

Today I got to examine the bloody shirt that John Connally (former TX governor) was wearing when he was riding in JFK's car during the assassination. Connally lived but had a bullet go through his chest and lodge in his wrist.
