Iron Maiden win the prize of my favourite band... just due to the fact that they were never content to squeeze all of the success from one good album. The only two albums that I have never been able to enjoy are the two from the Blaze Bayley era - but even then 'The Clansman' and 'Man on the Edge' are still really good tracks. I can enjoy the short 3/4 minute full on songs like 'Holy Smoke' and 'Sanctuary' just as much as the epic 8-9 minutes + songs like 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' and 'Phantom of the Opera'.
Not only do they have a full back catalogue of awesome music spanning 15 albums and 30 years but they can still kick it live. All in all, Iron Maiden make me feel proud to be a metal loving British teenager.
