On the topic of traditional gender roles, I would say that I do not uphold etiquette norms of the past. I have no expectation of doors, coats, chairs, or being stood before, and I also expect to pay for myself on an outing.

I think that is a very modern outlook now for most people. I like the idea of if I'm dating someone that we take turns to pay for an outing.
