Keith is known for his drunken antics and that somehow passes him out as being the best drummer ever There were/are plenty of Jazz and Rock drummers that were just as good or even better than Keith Moon.

Neil is an avid reader who writes sophisticated lyrics. He has introverted personality, and maybe that translates into having less enthusiasm, but not from my pov, it takes certain drive to become that technically proficient.
