I used to be an avid collector of both vinyl and cds and I've got an entire bedroom devoted to storing my albums. When I moved into a small condo, a year and a half ago, I stopped buying vinyl and cds both. I've run out of storage space. I'm slowly selling off my music collection on half.com.
I'm only purchasing digital music these days. I have a great wireless speaker system connected to my computer and a good digital software to organize and maintain my files. MP3 albums may not have any resale value but I belong to a music service where I can legally purchase drm-free MP3 albums at prices between 50 cents and $2.
