You make plans to go out with your friends
as life takes you far away from them
and this would be away to make amends
because they are all special friends.

Once yes we were always together
thought it would be that way forever
so easy to fall out of touch
when ambition paths your ways
that is the the end of days.

Time gets filled up with so many tasks
that when you think you may be finishing
your break never lasts
these times would have been great to get out
knowing now what life should not be all about.

Friends are important, like you, they won't stay around
they will follow there nose, closely to the ground
I hope they know I miss them so
as now I am getting old.

Its been a long while, since we all were together
chilling, laughing, to me they were all brothers
And as with blood we are together, though far apart
time it seems has given me heart.

I hope it will come to pass
and that they will all come
I want everyone to share in this one.
a toast of friendship that will not disappear
an ever flowing, tankard of beer
catching up and discovering whats new
just do not give me them blues.
