She doesn't. Television is only going to show you when she appears to get it right. Most of the time, she simply doesn't. It takes practice and even a certain humility to be a shyster. You have to say to yourself, "I have no psychic abilities whatsoever, I'm a fraud. I need to develop techniques to take people in. I can't just shoot from the hip and expect to get it right. I have to develop and observe the best ways to set people up and fleece them without them realizing that I'm fleecing them. Browne, however, will simply blurt out what she hopes is the answer without any preliminary questions. What are the odds that you can meet a stranger who asks, "How did my daughter die?" and you can just blurt out an answer and nail it? Virtually nil and Browne proves it. The obvious thing you should do is say, "Tell me what you know of your daughter's death" and then take it from there. If Browne were truly psychic she wouldn't have been wrong--plain and simple. If you can shoot from the hip and get it right even 50% of the time, you truly must be psychic. Browne proves she isn't.
