You're talking about ear-bud style headphones, right?

I'm not sure about Shure's products (no pun intended), but SE215 has high grades for sound quality. By the way you can probably find the SE215 at a much lower price than $200 on the internet. I'm seeing a prices at between $99 and $120.

PC Magazine has made the Shure SE215 the Editor's Choice for medium price range headphones.

I think high quality headphones make a huge difference in sound quality and it's the cheapest way to upgrade the quality of your digital music.
