Two, the relation is that if you are black you feel like wtf? what happened to Trayvon Martin could happen to me as well if I live in Florida or it could happen to someone that I know and love. Even Obama came out and said that he felt it could have happened to him. He could have been Trayvon years ago.

People saying that race isn't an issue in this case makes me laugh just as much as Stephen Colbert saying that he sees no race. It is a bit ignorant to be completely believe that is had NOTHING at all to do with race.

Also back on topic, just like I expected those artists weren't going to stick to it but I guess on the other hand they weren't even involved with it in the first place so now you guys don't have to worry about people "hurting" for this boycott from celebrities.
A lot of other people view the whole situation as nothing more than Race Merchants grabbing and clawing for every opportunity that arrives to coincide with the media and promote the significance of discrimination as an explanation for racial inequality. Its one thing to express an opinion, but its a different ballgame all together when the president of the united states does it. I will give you an example of why I believe Obama's statement was politically incorrect. His statement brings up the question as to why he is not addressing the fact that 75% of black mothers in this country have children out of wedlock. Family structure itself is what should be addressed more importantly than Whine Merchandising. This is something that the black leaders of this country should address themselves, because I don't think they even want any help by the whites at all. Im not trying to turn this into a racial argument DJ, Im just debating the subject with you in presenting different views from both sides, nothing more.

As far as Stevie Wonder participating in a boycott, well that is just the nature of the music industry. Its done mainly just for notoriety and sales for the artist themselves more so than benefiting society.
