After reading that, think about the details of the Zimmerman case, and you can see why there may be a different outcome. It hinges on the actions taken by the individual claiming the SYG law, as the law isn't simply, "if you feel threatened, you don't have to run away, you can just kill".

Ty for that when I first heard about the case. I felt like there was some differences and that was the main reason she went to jail but I didn't do the research and with all the racial mongering in the media I ended up getting swayed to the side of the SYG law is just f
ucked up and doesn't work because it has different outcomes for different people.
